Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., better known as Muhammad Ali, and also known as The Greatest (heaviest weight fighter in the history of boxing) passed away tonight. He inspired many.
My favorite quotes by him are
“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.”
“The man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.”
Before the news of Muhammad Ali dying, I was writing a blog post about this fancy new printer I bought that can print 13×19″ on archival ink that will last 100 years without fading if taken care of. I only sell Gicleé (archival) prints -because while non-archival prints are much cheaper, they also fade quickly.
Why am I talking about a printer? Because I just got one, and I was going to make some print available so I can break this thing in.
I’m making a Commemorative Print available of my Muhammad Ali painting. No fancy hoops to jump through, there’s a button below.
In the past I had issues with selling a commemorative painting. But, I got the message loud and clear after that Prince painting. It’s an asshole thing to do to show a painting in honor of someone, and then not make that painting available.
Here’s a picture of me with the Gorilla painting- so you can see what a 12″x18″ looks like.
This 36″x54″ Painting of Muhammad Ali is a great match for any large wall.
The 12×18 is a perfect size for bedrooms, offices, and kitchens… and makes for a great gift.
