Einstein…. One of the few people on my “Dead people I would really like to time travel back to meet while they are alive” list…. The guy was fun, funny, creative, imaginative…. I guess you could say he was everything that I strive to be (including having cool hair).
By the time I finished painting Albert, my hair probably looked like his… as I was struggling for hours to not only make it look like him, but also capture the essence of who I think he was…. A man that has fun, is quirky, powerful, wise, and powerful (but not a dick about it).
This is a 20×30″ on gallery-stretched canvas (1.75″ depth) with solid black sides (top/bottom/left/right), with hanging wire for easy hanging.
